• CALCIUM DISODIUM (EDTA) is used in the textile industry to prevent metal ion impurities from changing the colors of dyed products. In the pulp and paper industry, it is used in "chlorine-free bleaching."
• XANTHAN GUM is used in large quantities, usually to thicken drilling mud.
