YUM-YUM! This recipe was sooo good, I ate it before I could take a picture!

INGREDIENTS:
• 1/2 cup all purpose flour
• 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
• 1 cup rolled oats
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and nutmeg
• 1 pinch of cloves (optional)
• 1/2 cup butter
• 2 1/2 cups peeled, sliced apples
• 1/4 cup sugar

DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 7” x 11” baking pan.
2. Mix flour, salt, and soda together in a large bowl. Add brown sugar, oats, and spices.
3. Cut in butter with a pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture is crumbly.
4. Spread half of the mixture in the baking pan.
5. Top with apple slices and sprinkle with sugar.
6. Spread remaining crumb mixture evenly over apples.
7. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
8. Cool and cut into bars.
9. Serve warm or cold.
